Wag-A-Thon
April 26th is the Annual Wag-A-Thon event. Dogs and their owners participate in a group dog walk, pet bazaar, food and more. Proceeds go to the Dana Point Pet Project Foundation which provides shelter and care for stray pets. The event takes place between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm so be advised of potential parking and traffic delays. Usually everything is back to "normal" by noon.
More Dock Carts Coming!
We hear you loud and clear and have ordered more dock carts-enough for two per dock plus some to spare. Please do what you can to make sure that the carts are taken care of and are returned to the head of the dock after each use.

Overhang
We had an interesting response to a past newsletter article about vessels overhanging the dock. Basically we (the marina) got chewed out for "letting" the violations occur! This is the way it is supposed to work...marina rules require boaters tie up their boats properly so that they do not overhang the dock. When we see a vessel overhanging the dock we retie it and often attach a violation notice. There is no marina rule against retying someone else's boat-but if you don't know how or you are not comfortable retying it, give us a call.
